My name is Annie and I graduated from Hebei Medical University, China in 1994 with a BSc (Hon) Medicine. My training was in both Chinese and western Medicine and I am a fully qualified registered doctor in China. In the UK I gained a MSc (Distinction) in Psychotherapeutic Counselling.

 

I practised in a University Hospital in China as a Senior Physician from 1994 to 2002 then came to the UK and started my practice in Newcastle under lyme, as the first Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Practitioner in the town.  I set up a second practice, near by, and they merged in 2009.  I moved to Dubai in 2020, where I worked, at a Natural Healing Clinic as a Chinese Physician and Acupuncturist.  I earned a high reputation amongst patients duriing my time in Dubai, just as I did during all my years in the UK.  I moved back to the UK in 2023 and relocated to the North London area.

 

I have always been interested in the holistic approach to medicine and how the mental stresses of life affect our wellbeing.  This lead me to taking a course in Counselling and I furthered my studies at Staffordshire University from 2008 – 2012.  I gained an MSc in Psychotherapy and Counselling and became a qualified Counsellor and a member of BACP and ATCM (UK, over 20 years experience).   I have undertaken voluntary work for a local charity as a counsellor, particularly helping people with mental health problems.

 

 

In total, I have 30 years experience, with 22 years practice in uk. Over the years I have successfully treated thousands of patients with a wide variety of health problems. Because of my high levels of professional expertise , and caring supportive attitude I have earned a very good reputation within the community.  At this moment, the majority of my clients come  from recommendation and "word of mouth".
